Telkwa coal project nears end of environmental assessment phase

A proposed open pit metallurgical coal mine in the Bulkley Valley is in the final stage of the Environmental Assessment phase, with a goal to start construction next year. The Tenas Project is in the Bulkley Nechako region, 25 km south of Smithers and 7 km southwest of Telkwa, BC.
